Life Record EMR ties patients and doctors together with one record using ChartAnywhere

Life Record Inc. has released a new version of the Life Record EMR (Version 3.5), a web-enabled iPhone compatible EMR application for medical practices.  New to this edition is online web enrollment from anywhere (including the iPhone and iPod touch) and "InLobby Enrollment",  a  feature that allows you to put Macs or the iPod Touch in your lobby and your patients fill out all of their information electronically eliminating the need for the medical staff to enter the information manually.  When the patient uses the Mac or iPod Touch to fill out their new patient information they are ready for immediate healthcare.

The biggest feature in the new version of Life Record is the ability to connect to Life Record ChartAnywhere.  ChartAnywhere allows both patients and doctors to access patient records through their Mac, iPhone, or PC for referrals and informational purposes.  By simply clicking a button in Life Record, you generate a code that can be given to external physicians for referrals for immediate record transfers and updating.

For the patients using the same click interface, a physician can issue a code to their patient allowing their patient to go home and view their entire medical history including imaging, labs, etc from their Mac, PC, iPhone or iPod Touch.  The days of taking home a photo of a baby ultrasound are over.  Now you can take the video with you in your pocket and show the world.  If the patient has a question, they can securely send their doctor a message through ChartAnywhere and receive a response, all encrypted, all secure.   ChartAnywhere does all of this while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

You can view the new software and pricing details by visiting the Life Record EMR website at http://emr.liferecord.com.  A video tour of all features will be online this evening.
